Collectie

Vooral posters, handtekeningen van laurel & hardy en hun tegen/mede spelers en lobby cards zijn de hoofdmoot van de verzameling van uw Grandsheik. Maar ook foto's, press books, tijdschriften, zgn. filmfun annuals, boeken, speelgoed en 78rpm platen(o.a. de cuckoosong uit 1932) heeft hij in zijn verzameling! Pronkstukken zijn o.a. de pyjama's die de jongens droegen in de film " The Big Noise " uit 1944 , houtsnijwerkkopjes, artdeco glazen snoeppot van Oliver Hardy uit de 30er jaren etc. etc, Op deze pagina ziet U enkele van deze collectie stukken! Deze pagina zal zo vaak als mogelijk worden "opgefrist".

 

Collection

The collection of our Grandsheik mostly consists of posters, signatures of Laurel and Hardy and Co-stars, lobbycards, photographs, press books, magazines, so called Filmfun annuals, books, toys, 78 rpm records (cuckoo song 1932) and more! Jewels in his collection are amongst others the pyjama's they wore in the 1944 film The Big Noise, some wooden sculptures, artdeco glass candy container from the '30s etc. On this page you can see some pieces of his collection.This page will be "freshend up" as much as possible.

A Tin Soldier

Bovenstaand een afbeelding van een zeldzaam tinnen verzamelobject dat in de dertiger jaren werd uitgegeven in Uruguay door 'El Leon'. Dit is er een uit een serie van artiesten uit die tijdsperiode. Het werd uitgegeven als toevoeging van een pakje sigaretten. Rokers konden zodoende de serie bij elkaar sparen. Dit is de Oliver Hardy uitgave uit 1935.

On Top of this page you find a very rare tin collecting item which was produced in the 'thirtees' by an Uruguayen firm called'El Leon'. This is from a serie of famous artists of that specific time period. It was given free with a package of sigarettes. Smokers could collect a whole series of artists. This one is the 1935 edition of Oliver Hardy.
